Please turn in homework assignments to me in any of the following ways:

You may handwrite or type your solutions to the homeworks, as long as it is readable. Please use full sentences when you write your answers. Pretend as if you were writing a proof for a result in one of your research papers. In other words, be concise and coherent.
Please leave some space for me to give comments for each homework question. Please also give me some space on the second page of your homework so I can write how many points you earned per question. I will provide templates (both \(\LaTeX\) and PDF) that you can use to write your answers.
If you believe some part of a proof is obvious, please do not simply state that it is obvious or omit the step entirely. Instead, write one very short sentence that mentions why it is obvious. For example, it is better to write "since the function is bounded, it belongs to \(L^2(a,b)\)" instead of "clearly the function belongs to \(L^2(a,b)\)".
Please put the requested output of your codes into a report. I will provide \(\LaTeX\) templates showing how I want the reports to look.
Unless the problem in the assignment specifically asks you to answer a question, do not provide any comments. Also do not provide any background. I only want to see solution plots, error tables, error plots, and answers to questions when asked for in the problem.
You can program in whatever language that you prefer, but I will provide code templates and examples in python. You can also typeset your report in whatever manner you prefer. You can turn in your report to me in any of the ways that you are allowed to turn in homework. As always, if you need more time or have any questions, email me or ask during recitation.
